Dig Up Dinosaur Bones!
In Dino Dog - A Digging Adventure with Dinosaurs!, kids join Doug the Dog and Bonnie the Bear as they fly to three different archaeological digs to uncover dinosaurs' bones. Presented as a funny, fully animated cartoon, Dino Dog offers 12 interactive digging sites. Kids direct Doug's digging in underground mazes to find fossilized remains of dinosaurs. In addition to uncovering fossils, kids will also discover power-ups, including clues of where to dig and special gloves to break through hardened soil and rock, as well as hindrances such as molten rocks, boulders, and rock cave-ins that block the way. The mazes get progressively harder.
Put Together Fossils
Once five fossils have been found in a maze level, kids separate the collected bones from the surrounding rock by tapping the screen and then swiping to brush off the fossils before reassembling the bones to create a dinosaur skeleton for a museum. The completed dinosaurs come alive briefly to celebrate their completion. Kids will have fun assembling Stegosaurus, Tyrannosaurus, Pteranodon and others. They can visit their completed dinosaurs at the museum and learn interesting facts which can be read and are spoken by the narrator.

The combination of a light story told with cartoon animation, silly antics by Doug and Bonnie, and lots of hidden surprises while digging makes the Dino Dog app fun to play.
Kids use logic and navigation skills to direct Doug to dig through the maze of underground tunnels which get more complex as you go along. At first, kids will uncover special digging claws to get through rock; but in the harder levels they have to navigate around boulders and even cave-ins that block the tunnels.
While breaking the rock around the dinosaur bones can get repetitive, putting together each set of five bones to create a dinosaur skeleton uses puzzling skills. Kids know they have placed the bone in the correct location when they hear it "click" into place. It is fascinating to see the dinosaur come to life as the skeleton fills in with colorful skin and body parts. In the museum, which kids can visit after reassembling each dinosaur, kids both hear and see facts about each dinosaur as a reward.
