A Photo-sharing App When Privacy Is Important to You
Do you want to keep your family's photo-sharing private and simple? Cluster is the app for you. With just a few taps, you can set up a private network for sharing photos. You decide who is included in your group by sending invites. Members can view and upload photos and short (15-second) videos, and then comment on and "like" the photos. Cluster alerts members of the group when others have shared. You can also see if others in your group have viewed your uploaded content.
Why We Like This Photo App
Cluster is a great family app because it provides parents with a way to keeps all the photos of their children private but still share them with other family members in a social manner. It is a perfect solution for families who don't want to share photos of their kids on Facebook and other social media. It is also a simple solution for the family where grandma isn't on social media or doesn't own a smartphone. She can get in on the photographic fun by signing into the group via the web at https://cluster.co.
Our Personal Experience
My family tried Cluster out over a weekend of celebrating a birthday. Once we got a hang of the interface (use the "+" button within the app to access your camera), the app worked perfectly; and now we all have the smackdown photos of who really won bocce ball and "Apples to Apples." You can also add photos and videos from your camera roll, so you don't need to be in the app to take pictures. Cluster makes it a breeze to create a memory album of a family weekend, a child's birthday, the big soccer game, or any other of life's memories you want to keep.
Best For
Use the Cluster app when you want to share photos of your kids but you don't want to world to see. Because it works across all devices and even on the web, it is a great way to share photos with loved ones.
