These outstanding sports simulations let kids play and coach football, basketball, soccer, baseball, and hockey on a computer running Windows. Kids choose up teams from a pool of typical “backyard kids” and pro-athletes represented as children. This year, kids can also play Backyard Baseball and Backyard Football on Nintendo’s GameCube (GC) and GameBoy Advance (GBA); Backyard Hockey on GBA; and Backyard Basketball on Sony’s PlayStation II (PSII).
