The Fisher Price Little People toys and playsets have long been a favorite among the toddler set, and this software transformation will likewise delight them.
Youngsters join their Little People friends in helping to run the Discovery Airport. In the process, play five unique learning games. With Eddie, kids clear planes for takeoff by matching planes to visual and oral descriptions. With Sarah Lynn, they sort luggage according to its color and/or shape. Sonya Lee teaches children about numbers as she helps them place tagged animals into appropriate carriers for flights.
This software is the best of the three reviewed here. Its learning activities are appropriate for its targeted age of 2 to 4-year-olds, and most are offered at three levels of difficulty so that the program can grow with the child. If the child is having difficulty, the program provides help. The games are fun, and the graphics are adorable—kids giggle, pets purr, and airplanes expel sparkling exhaust.
