For third grade students, this software reviews math facts. Set in a game show milieu, the software allows up to three players to compete during the game show rounds. In between rounds of questions, students can play Cooperative Break, an arcade game that requires students to help one another to win. Students love buzzing-in their answers, and enjoy the fast pace and the jokes. A weakness is that many of the quiz questions drill math facts rather than challenging higher level thinking skills.
MindTwister Math is available in a teachers' version for $60 and a home version for $25.
